ECLAC predicts a five percent increase in exports, driven by a four percent rise in goods and a one percent increase in prices. Mexico, the regions largest exporter, is also expected to see a five percent increase. However, the outlook for 2026 is less optimistic. Service exports are also set to grow by eight percent. The region currently faces an average US tariff of ten percent, below the global average.
