Welcome to our first bonus episode. Lavender Girls: Coming Out was created by our friends Monica Mills and Joana Borges. Monica has devised a creative interpretation of lesbian cinema, focussing on sapphic presenting films in the 21st century and painted abstract artwork of monumental coming out moments within lesbian cinema - however that may come about. Each piece has a specific time-stamp to go alongside it and sets out to convey the importance of lesbian representation for the LGBTQIA+ community. Monica also takes us along her journey of realising and understanding her sexuality and how that was aided by media representation.
