Join Dr. Michael Metzger and Dr. Chongyin Yang as they discuss the Dahn Battery Lab at Dalhousie University. The lab focuses on the Physics and Chemistry of Materials for Energy Storage, primarily in the area of Lithium-ion batteries. Working with Dr. Jeff Dahn, they work to improve the energy density, increase the safety, decrease the cost and improve the cycle and calendar lifetime of the batteries.

Currently, the lab is working on a second 5-year research agreement with Elon Musk’s Tesla Electric Car company.
