Passing legislation during the day, and stopping speeders and criminals at night. Lee Perry of the Utah House of Representatives has spent the past nine years juggling both responsibilities. As a Lieutenant with the Utah Highway Patrol, he was in the unique position of writing Utah law, and enforcing it too.
Now, after a 31 year career in law enforcement, his retirement is bittersweet. Being a Utah Highway Patrol Trooper has been his dream job. But calmer waters are calling him.
