Episode 15: This episode explores the effects of bilateral stimulation, which is typically associated with EMDR. Bilateral stimulation is incorporating the left and right side of the body, in rhythm, in order to change the brain waves. In doing so, the theory is that you slow down the left brain and speed up the right brain, thus giving you easier access to your feelings and emotional memories. Bilateral stimulation is used frequently for PTSD and working throughpast traumatic events. Rick discusses how he uses bilateral stimulation, along with inner child techniques, in order to bring about shifting limiting core beliefs.
