Alba Villamil joins Dan Brown to talk about looking at user experience, user research, and information architecture through a new lens.
Some of the topics we discuss:
- The role of ignorance in research
- Consent in research
- The shortcomings of mental models
We also talked about the upcoming half-day conference Critical UX, from HmntyCntrd. At this important event, over the course of several panels, participants will discuss "working in environments that struggle to be truly human-centered in ways that acknowledge privilege, power, and injustice."
