she can stay right where she is. she is living a quality life in prison where she is allegedly doing a lot of good. the "real world" was not the place for her, her only chance to be a good person is in prison. remorse is easy to fake. learning what parole boards want to hear, and then saying it, can be learned. plenty of the Manson family did not kill, but for this particular series of crimes charlie handpicked the people he knew were capable. I realize far worse people get paroled. just because the state is complicit in those grievous injustices does not mean that any of the Manson family members involved in this series of heinous crimes ought to be paroled. she is a model prisoner BECAUSE SHE IS IN PRISON. She only did these marvelousthings BECAUSE SHE IS IN PRISON. I cannot take this guy's ageism against the murder victims. He is basically saying "they were old anyway". And "because there has been a lot of violence since, these crimes shouldn't be that big of a deal"? wtf
