This week we're talking about the hard learned lessons from Gary's 153 mile kayaking trip. He joined Scott Buff from Terrapin Outfitters, Avery Flynn from Outdoorsman Outfitters, Raul Ferreira on a paddle trip from Columbia, SC to Charleston, SC.

Gary shares some of the highlights, both good and bad, from this trip. He shares how approaching this trip was so different from how he would normally prepare for a backpacking trip. He also talks about how, in-spite of being a seasoned canoe paddler, paddling a kayak half the state of South Carolina was all he expected and more.
