In this episode my good friend John joins me to discuss the importance of ownership. John is himself a small business owner based in Sheffield England. Over the past couple of weeks we have witnessed a number of high profile cancellations in the black community. Which for me raised the issue of ownership. Wiley commented that “He felt cheated by former partners in the music industry” He’s been in the industry for over 20 years. Nick Canon had his show ‘Wild N Out’ cancelled by Viacom. The show Is Canon’s creation, but the question is does he own it?
