Hello listeners! We are back at it again with the conversations! YAY! I think the one thing that I want to take away is to not be anxious about reaching out to people because I've been met with nothing but support and this episode is no different. My good friend from Hofstra University, Patrick Hopkins, joins me this week and we discuss living during an election year in the midst of a pandemic and we also discuss the passing of his father and our society's traditions when it comes to death, dying, and funerals. It's always an uncomfortable subject to talk about but if I have learned anything (else) this year it's that if it makes you uncomfortable to talk about something, you probably should talk about it. Again, in regards to the serious and heavy subject matters, not making yourself uncomfortable over some bullshit. But it was an honest and open conversation that I was very thankful and grateful to have with him. I think when we talk things out it helps us; what a novel concept, I know. LOL.
I hope you enjoy and follow wherever you listen to podcasts. I'm also on YouTube and Instagram @CalmDownCole.
Stay well and be happy.
