About Aoife Brown
Aoife has over 25 years in television production operations at RTÉ.
For the past number of years the majority of her work has been as
Lighting Director on ‘Fair City’, Ireland’s longest running drama
serial. In 2018, Fair City began shooting in HD. As Lighting Director,
she was involved in the technical planning of the project. Her
responsibility was also to ensure that all set lighting met the
requirements for HD filming and designed set lighting for a new diner
set. In 2014, Aoife was the Lighting Director for RTĖ’s first full HD
studio production which was studio coverage and analysis of the FIFA
World Cup.
