As an eight year old, Rich Cohen was a fixture in his grandfather’s market in Springfield, MA, adding up grocery orders on a paper bag – a first indication of his love of numbers and the business. That market, Waverly Market, would become the foundation and inspiration for his company, Waverly Markets, LLC/ShopRite of Manchester. For 19 years, two of their four children — daughter Jordan and son Alex – have been the fourth generation in the food business with Jordan being named President in 2018. Their company is dedicated to providing an “Exceptional Experience” for its associates, customers and community.
