Today I had the opportunity to speak with Gay Valimont, the Democratic nominee running in the Florida special election to fill Matt Gaetz’s former House seat.
In this extremely crucial race, Democrats have the fundraising advantage seven times over, and hope it’s enough to swing this extremely red district. A win for Valimont would eliminate the GOP’s already-slim majority, and potentially make for a colossal shift of power in Congress.
Gay told me her very touching personal story, gave an update on the state of the race, and shared some inspiring words for everyone fighting back against Trump that you won’t want to miss.
