Description

In this episode I talk to my good friend Aaron Le Boutillier.

Aaron is one of those people who has lived a full life. It would take an episode just to run through everything he has accomplished. He recently completed his masters in criminology and criminal psychology, and is now onto his Phd.

For close on two decades Aaron has lived in Thailand. He speaks fluent Thai, and owns tree roots retreat a a beautiful space carved out 5 minutes from the beach in Rayong

He has met his fair share of challenges too. Most notably surviving the 2004 earthquake and subsequent tsunami that took hundreds of thousands of lives in South and South East Asia. He wrote a book about his experience entitled, And Then One Morning.

his life is inspired by adventure, from running across the Sahara Desert in the Marathon des Sables, his obsession with jiu-jitsu, and love of surfing.

In this episode I explore with Aaron three main topics, namely,

  • Turning fear and anxiety into an ally
  • Extreme adventures and what you learn from that experience
  • And having a positive attitude
