Locked On Lions POSTCAST Detroit Lions LOSE To Buffalo Bills, Alim McNeill & Carlton Davis Injured
Description
Detroit Lions fell to the Buffalo Bills by a final score of 48-42 at Ford Field in an NFL Showdown. Jared Goff put up impressive numbers for Detroit, completing 38 of 59 passes for a whopping 494 yards, and connecting for five touchdowns. Despite his efforts, Buffalo's dynamic duo of quarterback Josh Allen and running back James Cook proved too much for the Lions' defense to handle. Allen reinforced his MVP candidacy with a commanding performance, scoring four total touchdowns — two through the air and two on the ground. Cook added a critical 105 rushing yards and two rushing TDs. Amon-Ra St. Brown shined brightly for the Lions, racking up 193 receiving yards and a touchdown on 14 receptions. The Lions made a valiant effort to rally late in the fourth quarter, reducing the deficit with a touchdown pass to Jameson Williams in the dying seconds, but it was not enough as Detroit snapped its winning streak against a resilient Bills squad. The Lions now turn their focus to maintaining their strong overall record as they continue their journey through the regular season.
