Description

The Los Angeles Angels were unable to overcome a 4-2 final score against the Baltimore Orioles on Monday night, even though they had a few chances to do so in this one. Key moments came in the 7th and the 9th inning for Mike Trout, but he failed to deliver when he needed to the most. Reid Detmers didn't have his best stuff, but completed 7 innings of work, surrendering 4 runs, but keeping the Halos close enough to come back, but the offense has been weak since Saturday. We've got a full recap for you in segment 1!

Then, Ron Washington is asking his starting staff why they haven't been throwing 1st-pitch strikes. What will the players say, and what answers is Wash looking for by doing this? We'll talk about it in segment 2!

Plus, Wash also spoke about the fine line to walk when it comes to instilling confidence in young players versus sending them down a level in the minors and giving them time to figure things out at the Majors. Is this a good approach, or should the players be sent down if they have shown to need it? We'll discuss in segment 3!
