El: Ο δροσερός αέρας του χειμώνα φυσούσε ανάμεσα στα περίτεχνα δρομάκια της Αθήνας.
En: The cool winter air blew between the intricate streets of Athens.

El: Ο Ανδρέας και ο Νίκος ξεκίνησαν το ταξίδι τους προς τους Δελφούς, ονειρευόμενοι τη στιγμή που θα δουν το Μαντείο.
En: Andreas and Nikos began their journey to Delphi, dreaming of the moment they would see the Oracle.

El: Το αυτοκίνητο φορτωμένο με σνακ και καλή διάθεση, και οι δύο ανυπομονούσαν.
En: With the car loaded with snacks and good spirits, both were eager.

El: «Πρέπει να φτάσουμε πριν το ηλιοβασίλεμα», έλεγε ο Ανδρέας, κοιτάζοντας την τυπωμένη χάρτινη διαδρομή.
En: "We need to arrive before sunset," said Andreas, looking at the printed paper map.

El: Ήξερε ότι οι Δελφοί θα έβλεπαν μαγευτικά το χειμωνιάτικο σούρουπο.
En: He knew Delphi would look magnificent in the winter twilight.

El: «Χρησιμοποίησε το GPS, Ανδρέα!
En: "Use the GPS, Andreas!"

El: » γελούσε ο Νίκος, προσπαθώντας να ισορροπήσει ανάμεσα στην οδήγηση και το να παίζει με το κινητό του.
En: laughed Nikos, trying to balance between driving and playing with his phone.

El: Η διαδρομή ήταν φιλική, περνώντας μέσα από καταπράσινα τοπία και μικρά χωριά στολισμένα για τα Χριστούγεννα.
En: The route was friendly, passing through lush landscapes and small villages decorated for Christmas.

El: Όμως, σύντομα, έκαναν την πρώτη λάθος στροφή.
En: However, soon they made their first wrong turn.

El: «Μην ανησυχείς, βασίζομαι στον χάρτη», είπε ο Ανδρέας ασφαλής.
En: "Don't worry, I'm relying on the map," Andreas said confidently.

El: Ο Νίκος εύκολα αποσπάστηκε από τις φωτεινές χριστουγεννιάτικες αγορές - μία στάση εδώ, μία ακόμη εκεί.
En: Nikos was easily distracted by the bright Christmas markets - a stop here, another there.

El: «Ωραία, ας συνεχίσουμε», επέμενε ο Ανδρέας όταν ανακάλυψαν ότι είχαν περάσει τα τρία ήδη καφετέριες χωρίς επισκέψεις.
En: "Alright, let's continue," insisted Andreas when they realized they'd passed three cafes without making a stop.

El: Κάθε λάθος στροφή το οδηγούσε σε χριστουγεννιάτικες έκτακτες στάσεις αντί για το Μαντείο.
En: Each wrong turn led them to unexpected Christmas stops instead of the Oracle.

El: Μετά από ώρες περιπλανήσεων, συνειδητοποίησαν ότι δεν κατευθύνονταν προς το μεγαλείο των Δελφών αλλά προς ένα χωριό γεμάτο κατσίκες και συμπαθητικούς χωρικούς.
En: After hours of wandering, they realized they were heading not towards the grandeur of Delphi but to a village full of goats and friendly villagers.

El: Βρίσκονταν σε ένα φεστιβάλ κατσίκων παρά στο αρχαίο μνημείο.
En: They found themselves at a goat festival rather than the ancient monument.

El: «Νόμιζα ότι δεν είχαμε αγιογούρουνα στις κίνησεις μας», είπε ο Νίκος γελώντας.
En: "I thought we didn't have hogs in our plans," said Nikos laughing.

El: Ο Ανδρέας κοίταξε την χαριτωμένη κατάσταση και ξέσπασε σε γέλια.
En: Andreas looked at the charming situation and burst into laughter.

El: «Τελικά, το ταξίδι έχει τη χάρη του», παραδέχθηκε ο Ανδρέας.

El: Ταξίδεψαν στην αγροτική γιορτή, και παρόλο που δεν είδαν τους Δελφούς, ένιωσαν την αυθεντική γιορτινή κουλτούρα.

El: Αποφάσισαν να επιστρέψουν σε μια πιο ζεστή μέρα.
