From corporate meltdowns like Bud Light, target, Disney et al to mid-air collisions that cost lives, DEI is operationally catastrophic and systemically destructive.
Benny Johnson: In 2021, the Louvre tapped a woman, Laurence des Cars, as their Chair with a mission to “feminize recruitment” to key posts in the museum.
In 2024, almost a year prior to the date of the break-in, Laurence des Cars tapped ANOTHER WOMAN, Dominique Buffin, as the museum’s HEAD OF SECURITY.
A French newspaper interviewed Buffin after securing the high-profile post: “Policing is a risky profession a man’s job. ‘Well, actually, no,’ assures Dominique Buffin.”
Just a year later, a cadre of thieves managed to ransack precious historical jewels at the Louvre after comically climbing a massive ladder from the street in what could’ve been a scene from ‘The Pink Panther.’
None of it was sophisticated, nor stealthy. Yet, no one stopped them.
You cannot build a competent society when you place diversity quotas over merit.
It fails EVERY TIME.
The theft of Napoleonic treasures in the Louvre followed a change in the display cases in 2019. Before then, the Rococo display cases had armored glass and if disturbed the treasures would drop into a safe. They were later replaced by “modern” displays with normal glass. pic.twitter.com/ZJxvaictsR

Louvre security chief accused of being ‘diversity hire’
By: James Crisp, The Telegraph, October 20, 2025:
Some critics have said the hiring of the Louvre’s first female security head, Dominique Buffin, was part of ‘a feminisation policy’ – @TaraBull808/X
The Louvre’s head of security was accused of being a diversity hire who put France’s national treasures at risk as the blame game over Sunday’s jewellery heist erupted.
On Monday, the manhunt continued for the four masked burglars who carried out the “theft of the decade” of jewellery belonging to Napoleon’s family.
French investigators said that nothing had been ruled out, including an inside job, but said the evidence was currently pointing towards organised crime.
AdvertisementThe daring daylight raid that humiliated France has also exposed long-standing security concerns around the Louvre.
Dominique Buffin, 46, was hired as the first female security chief by Laurence Des Cars, the museum’s first female director, last September.
But on Monday, Ms Buffin, who has held roles in the police and the French culture ministry, faced calls to resign and accusations that she was unfit for the role.
Marion Maréchal, the MEP who is Marine Le Pen’s niece said France was the “laughing stock of the world” because of the “ridiculous theft”.
She said on social media, that “[Culture Minister] Rachida Dati must demand the immediate resignation of the museum’s director Laurence Des Cars and the security chief Dominique Buffin, whom she appointed – Le Monde was delighted – as part of a feminisation policy.
Advertisement“Evidently at the cost of forgoing competence and endangering the cultural heritage of our nation.”
Ms Le Pen, the leader of the National Rally party, said the raid was a “wound to the country’s soul”.
‘An intolerable humiliation for our country’Ms Le Pen’s protege Jordan Bardella, the president of National Rally, also lashed out at the theft.
