It was our honor to speak with US Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz about her breast cancer and BRCA2+ diagnosis at age 41 while a member of Congress, and how she has turned her breast cancer diagnosis into purpose. 🎀

Representative Wasserman Schultz has become a leading congressional champion for the cancer advocacy community, and has passed countless bills to help promote early cancer detection and education in young women, increase accessibility for genetic screening, and improve access to cancer survivorship care services. 🙌

She shares how the self-breast exam saved her life, the weight of a genetic mutation on a family, and how the notion of Tikkun Olam lead to her political career. 🤩
