MHS GENESIS is the electronic health record (EHR) system implemented across the United States Department of Defense (DoD) healthcare and military health system. It is designed to provide a single, integrated patient record for service members, veterans, and their families, encompassing medical and dental information. MHS GENESIS aims to improve the delivery of healthcare by providing clinicians with access to a comprehensive history of service members’ health, including medical and dental care received both in garrison and in deployed settings.
