Description
Former MTA train operator Myran Pollack, just weeks from retirement, was brutally stabbed by Jonathan Davalos during a routine train clearance at Utica Avenue station. Davalos, with a prior record, pleaded guilty to attempted murder and was sentenced to fifteen years. Pollack, now with PTSD and severe physical pain, expressed forgiveness for his attacker, crediting the NYPDs quick response for saving his life. Despite the trauma, Pollack acknowledges a long road to recovery.
