Mufasa is a poet and spoken-word artist based in Nairobi, Kenya. Known for his highly emotive voice and animated delivery that sparks an electric frenzy among his audience, He is a campaigner for social justice and human dignity, and believes in creative expression for social change. Listed by Badilisha Poetry Xchange as one of the top 10 African poets of 2018, Mufasa is also a multiple Slam champion, judge and workshop facilitator at Poetry Slam Africa, a competition that aims to recognise poets and spoken-word artists discussing a range of current issues affecting Africa and the world at large.
