Welcome to episode 1 of the Low Heat Beats Podcast. This is a podcast about making beats, gear, software and everything that has to do with music production from the perspective of funk, hip-hop and futuristic electronic music.  

My first guest is Italian producer Madd3e, who’s released plenty of dope music on labels such as Dance Supremacy, Darker than Wax, Voyage Funktastique and Sidekick Music. He is also a mix engineer and produces for other people in his studio in Rome.   

We talked about his Soulection influence, his popularity among dancers, beat making workflow tips, about the Maschine MK3 and how it compares to the Push 2, about some hardware synths such as the Bass Station 2, so it was a proper nerd session and I hope you like this casual conversation we recorded.
