Frederick Green, a 20-year-old man, has been charged with attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the shooting of Jets player Kris Boyd. Green was arrested in Buffalo, New York, after authorities tracked him down using public tips and surveillance footage. During his arraignment, Greens defense requested home detention and bail, but prosecutors argued against it, citing Greens attempts to evade capture. Boyd, who was shot in the abdomen, underwent multiple medical procedures and made a surprise appearance at the team facility last week, much to his teammates delight.
