Paul Sultana, a man from Western Sydney, has been sentenced to a maximum of forty-four years in prison for the murder of his partner, Dayna Isaac. Sultana, driven by jealousy, killed Isaac in January 2023 after she decided to end their relationship. Despite attempting to cover up the crime, Sultana was found guilty of murder in a judge-alone trial. He will be eligible for parole in 2056, after serving thirty-three years.
