Marlie, 24, was born and lived in Haiti for a period of time before leaving for Canada. She became pregnant at 14 and life was never the same. Marlie faced many hurdles, especially in a society where being a teen mother is frowned upon. But with the love and support of her parents, she fought until she saw the light at the end of the tunnel.

Today, she is mother to Lheyla; a beautiful and brilliant 9 year old, and Marlie, a fulfilled mother and a dynamic professional in the medical field.
