Celebrated scientist, Marie Curie was a force to be reckoned with. Her research on the dangerous elements Radium and Polonium included a great deal of exposure to radioactive material in her lab. To combat what we now know was “radiation poisoning”, Marie Curie advocated nature walks and organized aerobics.
