Today we begin a new series in the Gospel According to Mark—Kingdom Come, God's Reign in a Chaotic World. Join us as pastor Glenn opens Part I of the series with an introduction to the gospel and from the opening verses 1:1-8. Written by John Mark this is the first of the gospels to be written and delivered to the early church in Rome. It is often referred to as the action gospel since Mark moves quickly from one event to the next showcasing Jesus first and foremost as the 'Son of God,' as well as what He does during His 3.5 years of public ministry. Read Mark 1:1-8 in advance to prepare for this message.
