The ASX200 was down about 0.6% as US futures pointed to a softer start, with the Nasdaq futures dropping around 0.75% and the Dow about 0.5%. Energy shares were the only sector in the green, up roughly 0.5%, while health, financials, tech and real estate all fell. An ASX technical glitch halted 80 stocks, most notably Metcash, which slid 9.2%. Investors will watch the Wednesday update on three‑month Aussie growth, US jobs and inflation data, and the Fed decision due on 10‑11 December.
