Description
The World Union for Progressive Judaism's Connections 2025 conference in Jerusalem, taking place October 22-25th, will bring together the global leadership of the progressive Judaism movement to mark its centennial and rededicate its hub at Beit Shmuel. Buenos Aires-born Rabbi Sergio Bergman, President of the World Union for Progressive Judaism, says the gathering underscores the movement's commitment to Zionist, democratic and pluralistic values. He spoke to KAN reporter Naomi Segal about the significance of the event against the backdrop of the Gaza ceasefire and hostage releases.
