Marouli, The Great Leslie and Pomona Park bring new music to Freshly Squeezed.
Description
STOP! Don't do anything until you've listened to this weeks new music podcast, if you miss it, you miss out on potentially discovering your next favourite band.
Three bands lined up on this weeks show all offering something slightly different on the indie rock spectrum. Here's the line up (with links if you want to find more):
Marouli: Some quirky Bowie-inspired new music from this Manchester band, fronted by Band of Skulls pianist Graham McCusker (but don't let that fool you as to their sound).
The Great Leslie: Glam indie rock n roll from the greatest of Leslies. The band talk new music, new members and the possibility of playing at Eurovision!
Pomona Park: Hopeful, energetic, sing-a-long indie rock from the heart of Manchester... or the little bit of land between Manchester and Salford anyway. The band join Jim to chat about new single 'Lifeline'.
Oh, and you know the Freshly Squeezed house band Spin Klass? They've got a brand new tune out. It's called 'Don't Wanna Go' and you NEED to hear it.
Freshly Squeezed is written, researched and hosted by Jim Salveson. Additional sound design and production support from Ant McGinley. The show's theme tune 'Blue Blazer' is from Manchester's Spin Klass.
