Description
The word “maundy” comes from Latin roots and is related to our word for “commandment.” In our tradition, the night before Good Friday calls us to a remembrance of Jesus in the Upper Room with his friends, sharing a meal with them and washing their feet just before he was arrested. An observance of Maundy Thursday titled “At the Table” is rooted in Mark 14:1-9
