I resented going to the doctor's office after my mom's passing and having to fill out forms disclosing she was deceased. I used to feel so confident in filling out those same forms and adding her information as the alternative emergency contact -- not to mention updating her after my appointments. That's gone now. I talk about this in my blog. No clinical jargon , no expert opinions, my raw truth of living through it.
