Melody is a trans woman from Toronto, ON who had to navigate the world and her authentic self growing up in the 1960s. This has come with its own dangers and challenges as Melody reflects on her passion for cycling and a life-spanning multiple careers from chauffeur to rock stars and running away and joining the carnival at 15 years old. This episode was scripted and edited by Allison Hannaford who interviewed Melody near her home in Toronto.
