This week’s episode is with Dwayne Meeks, an expert and the founder of an award-winning fatherhood program Urban Colors Arts and Mentoring and also the President and Chair of the Colorado African American Drug Policy Coalition. He believes that by changing yourself, you’ll be able to change and empower others. Meeks co-authored the book “Pieces Never Missing Required in a Child's Life”. It is Impacting the country and getting National attention as a recommended reading tool to help fathers and families stay connected and reduce at risk behavior in the home. Mr. Meeks was awarded the outstanding fatherhood individual by the Responsible Fatherhood Initiative and has been recognized by the Governor and Mayor of Colorado for his contribution to responsible fatherhood.
