Stephanie Pomboy 

 Stephanie Pomboy is the founder, owner, and president of MacroMavens. She is also a financial analyst, market strategist, and economist. 

She began her career at Cyrus J. Lawrence LLC's investment management company. Then worked as a managing director at  economic research firm ISI Group with Ed Hyman and Nancy Lazar from 1991 to 2002.where she provided timely financial insight and analysis to the country's most sophisticated and largest institutions. 

In 2002 she founded her own firm MacroMavens delivering prescient insights on emerging macroeconomic trends and their implications for global financial markets .

 In addition, she hosts a joint podcast called The Super Terrific Happy Hour with Grant Williams of Things That Make You Go Hmmm… newsletter. 

Lawrence McDonald

Larry McDonald is a New York Times bestselling author, CNBC contributor, and Political Risk Expert. He is also the creator of The Bear Traps Report, a weekly independent Macro Research Platform focusing on global political and systemic risk with actionable trade ideas founded in 2010

From 2011 – 2016, he was Managing Director and Head of U.S. Macro Strategy at SocGen

In late 2006, as Vice President at Lehman Brothers, he led his team into betting against the subprime mortgage market, profiting the firm over $2 billion before its demise.

Prior to working at Lehman, he was the co-founder of Convertbond.com, a website that provided convertible securities information with news, valuation, terms and analysis tools for convertible bonds, convertible preferred stocks, and other convertible securities. Convertbond was acquired by Morgan Stanley in 1999.
