This is part 1 of a three-part episode where I interview former Army Ranger Micah Faustin.  For this first episode, Micah talks about growing up in a large family in the suburbs of Denver.  After high school, he worked for a shooting range that helped plant the seed for his future in the Army.

He was sent off to basic training and then Airborne school in Georgia.  Ranger Assessment and Selection Program came next.  He finally completed one of the US military’s most grueling selection program for special operations and joined the prestigious 75th Ranger Regiment.

In this episode, Micah explains the physical and mental process he went through during this training and how, despite several injuries, he managed to gain the coveted Ranger tab and join the ranks of one of America’s oldest special operations forces.

Tune in to episodes 2 and 3 where Micah describes his time in combat as an Army Ranger and how he dealt with the unbelievable healing process that brought him to where he is today.
