I sat down with Michael Shellenberger, journalist and author of “Apocalypse Never,” “San Fransicko,” and the upcoming “Pathocracy,” to discuss the collapse of trust in elite institutions and its implications for civilization. Michael explains how the erosion of common sense has left the greatest American cities in chaos, especially in his home state of California. Democratic elites, both within the party and among its media proxies, have become fully insulated from the consequences of their policies and now have backed themselves into an ideological corner.
