In episode 6, Monique shares her reactions and thoughts about microaggressions. She's had several conversations within the course of a week with women of color about microaggressions, so she decided to share. She's also had her share of experiences. It's a real thing. This episode is intended to be a conversation starter. Although, each situation is unique and may require more complex resolutions. With that said, she holds on to the following basic principles.

2.) Seek first to understand rather than be understood.
