Mike Glover - Rebuilding From Zero
Description
Mike spent 18 years in the US Army and as a government contractor for OGA (Other Government Agency). He served as a SGM (Sergeant Major) in Special Forces and deployed multiple times to combat theaters. Mike is the founder of Fieldcraft Survival, and an expert in Counter-Terrorism, security, and crisis management operations.
As promised, this is a follow-up to our previous conversation where Mike explained the legal ordeal he had just survived. After that episode aired, Mike and I received a substantial amount of feedback from those in the legal profession suggesting that the remainder of the legal process should be allowed to play itself out before discussing further. We have taken their advice.
This episode is about how you start over, how you build back, and how you find yourself if you get lost.

Very relatable. Andy has talked about operating with "concentric rings of control" and Mike practices this. Self>family >community>public. The problem I have run into is when you have a catastrophic failure in one of the smaller rings it causes you to contract to that level and it causes insecurity on the higher levels. When you're in the public eye and your family is in turmoil it can make you feel like a fraud.
