Michael Rubin is the powerhouse lead singer and songwriter for The Inoculated Canaries and for the genre-defying King Falcon. He joins me to discuss starting a band and releasing his band's first EP at 13yrs old, growing up with a rock dad, forming and rocking with a second band, finding a sound with his bandmates James, Dylan, and Brian; his dream guitar, an upcoming EP from King Falcon, and dishes on the real story behind how the Canaries found their "Donna."
