Phil is a PhD Candidate in Biomedical Sciences under the direct supervision of Dr. Eric Schadt. Projects focused in the fields of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, Data Science,Digital Health, Genetics/Genomics, and Biotech Entrepreneurship.
This is one of our more technical interviews and focuses on disease detection using genes, machine learning and good old fashioned lab work.
It is a fascinating interview and gives hope to the efforts of our youth and their determination to solve complex disease states using the latest technologies available.
