To help celebrate the first International Day of Mathematics, we’re highlighting a leader in mathematics and advocate for girls’ education. IWF Israel member, mathematician, neuroscientist and professor Mina Teicher is the former Chief Scientist for the Israeli government and former Vice President for R&D at Bar Ilan University, among other leading positions. She tells us about being fascinated by numbers at an early age and encouraging women and girls to enter mathematics.
