It's been a while.

Welcome Back, everyone. This episode has been something I've wanted to speak on for a while now.

I signed up for an Ironman back in January 2019 and after getting my training programme through i didn't really know where to start in terms of how to tie all of the training sessions together and handle the load and duration of these sessions.

I fell into a great podcast from Rich Roll and Chris Hauth talking about the benefits of training in zone 2. I had no idea about this type of training method. Essentially it's going slower to get faster in the long run.

Anyways throughout my training for Ironman, I developed a concept MTF. Mind Technique Fitness, this is something derived from my training in Zone 2. I talk about the ability to control my mind through my patience whilst training and getting used to correct techniques and performing better and getting fitter in the process.

My recovery and ability to training 7 days a week. Back to back double sessions with high loads is something I only attribute to developing a good base fitness and training my mind to handle the load of training sessions and demand.
