Paula Kendrick is an FSU grad from the hospitality program, with over 30 years of experience in the industry. She has worked in restaurants, managed well known, blacktie, gourmet catering companies, was owner & co-owner of her own cafe and restaurants, and most recently (and for the past ten years) worked with Florida department of agriculture managing the school lunch program for the state of Florida. She has been one of the most impactful mentors in my life, and as a single mom of two, Paula was always able to do it all while also supporting me in my adventure through college.
In this episode you will hear our story, and we will go down memory lane of both of our resumes. After hearing about Paula’s leadership and place in my life it will probably connect some dots on why I have such a love for good food and nutrition,and where it all began. I hope you take away the need to support yourself with good nutrition, the health of our kids, and more appreciation for our earth, which helps us grow good nutrition for all.
