Mindfulness for Kids: A guide on how to make an altar of your own so you can connect with positive energy and your true self
Description
Have you ever wondered "what is an altar"?
Chances are, you already have one or more altars in your home or room, but you hadn’t realized that’s what they are!
A lot of times the word altar can bring up an idea of religion or something that's connected to a church or a temple. But, it doesn’t matter at all what culture or religion you are, it's just a way to express your creativity and connect with your true spirit!
Welcome to episode 4 of Chakra Talk! In this episode, I’m sharing everything I know about different types of altars, and how they’re simply a space to connect with your true self. It can be something as simple as a collection of family photos, or special items you really love.
I’m giving you the history of altars (which dates back millions of years), tips on how to make an altar of your own, how to use one to help you feel better on the days you need it, and ideas of what to include in a traveling altar to give you a sense of home wherever you are.
This tool is sure to make your everyday life a little more magical! It can be a large space or a small one, it doesn't matter at all as long as it has good energy and feels like somewhere you'd like to go to over and over again.
I hope you build your own inspirational space and that it connects you to positive energy and your inner power.
Always remember you have the power inside of you to make all of your dreams come true!
Dream big, magical one!
Carly

If you want to share a picture of your altar with me, (it's absolutely optional because it might be something that you want to keep private) I’ll be happy to look at them!
