Description

SPOILER ALERT: Things take a decidedly bucolic turn at 03:00 , before returning to the minimalist jaw harp and strings at 05:12 .

No, I don’t get out much.

(12:00 , about 27.6 Mb)

A Matrix pattern generator drives an NN-XT sampler, loaded with chicken squawks, crow calls, and a couple of cows mapped to individual MIDI notes.

The Matrix MIDI note data is also fed to the Jaw Harp, a J65 Bass, and a second NN-XT sampler loaded with String Orchestra samples. The second sampler will provide carrier audio for the Vocoder.

The critter samples take two paths: one is directly to the main mix and and the second is to the Vocoder, where they modulate the String Orchestra audio from the second NN-XT sampler.

The bucolic interlude has three main sections, each lasting just under a minute: Critters audio, Vocoder out, and Critters+Vocoder out.
