God works miracles in our lives by His Word and Spirit, but He also requires the presence of a receptive VOID in us, into which He can speak and which He can fill with His life. So, there are 2 ingredients to every miracle of God: (1) God's SPIRIT and WORD, which are the active agents of the miracle, and (2) a receptive VOID, which is necessary to receive a miracle. This is illustrated with a number of examples.
