Mission: Impossible III (2006), directed by J.J. Abrams, follows Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) as he comes out of retirement to rescue a fellow agent and take down arms dealer Owen Davian (Philip Seymour Hoffman). When the mission becomes personal, Hunt must protect his fiancée Julia (Michelle Monaghan) while pursuing a mysterious weapon called the "Rabbit's Foot." The film also stars Ving Rhames, Billy Crudup, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Maggie Q, and Laurence Fishburne.
