Description

Misty Copeland was born to be a ballerina. She just didn’t realize it, or even discover ballet until she was 13. And then she had to overcome intense family turmoil, racial barriers and self doubt - before soaring to the top. Now she’s the first African-American female Principal Dancer at the prestigious American Ballet Theater. And that’s just her day job.
